Sheep can pray revival down - a fire that burns so quickly through a nation that nothing can put the fire out. Communists don't like that kind of fire. Once it gets inside a heart they are helpless against it.
Sheep have a shepherd who heals the sick and raises the dead and gives hope where there is none - and Communists do not. The Party doesn't have a lot to offer and they know it.
Sheep hear their shepherd's voice above all others - a great bone of contention to the Party. But the shepherd doesn't care and he speaks to his sheep anyway and they obey him first of all - because, after all, HE is their Lord, not President Xi.
No matter what the Communists of China do, they can NEVER tear the shepherd out of a sheep's heart.
And it infuriates them.
